Me, and Femtastic Coaching
Welcome! I’m Claire, the face behind Femtastic Coaching.
I’m an Ozzie living in Denmark with my Danish husband, two bonus children (this is the Danish term for step children, which I just love) and two Danish/Australian children.
I’m passionate about travelling, the outdoors, sun (yes I miss that greatly living in the Nordics…), coffee and my family! I love a good night out on the dance floor, although they’re few and far between these days. I’m also passionate (and maybe also a little bit obsessed) by all things related to exercise, nutrition and self-development. I’m always curious about the science behind things and I like to check out new gadgets on the market. These days, I’m all about finding the right balance in order to live a full life.
In my twenties, I gravitated towards the extreme – I’d spend hours working in the gym but then ruin it all by partying all weekend. I was like a yo-yo going from being a health nut to a party nut.
Since having children and being forced to prioritize, I’m all about finding the balance and the place where life can be lived sustainably. I’ve found that the 80/20 rule, where exercise and healthy nutrition make up the majority of my life and wine and chocolate the minority, work well for me. I feel good and I get to enjoy life, too!
For the past ten years, I’ve been a career coach, working with executives in post -graduate education. I hold an MSc in Business Psychology, I’m a certified co-active coach and have a certification in Rapid Transformation Therapy (RTT). Thanks to my training and my experience, I’ve gained a lot of insight into the mindset and limiting beliefs many of us live with, sometimes without questioning them. I nurture a firm belief that most people have a desire and some basic knowledge of how to live healthy but it’s our limiting beliefs that set us back. Adding to this, I know first-hand how hard it is as a busy woman and mother to ensure that you carve out a little bit of time to look after yourself!
This is where Femtastic Coaching came to life.
